Description
Our Family Cruise is a great opportunity to meet other families and get quality time cruising with your children! Keyword: cruise! These rides are geared towards children comfortable on their own pedal bikes and small children in trailers. It is a fun focused, no drop group ride for families! Walk bikes / balance bikes are NOT RECOMMENDED for this group ride! This ride ranges from 3-6 miles round trip, leaving from our shop, looping around Washington Park, and returning to our shop. Bike shop owner's four year old son helps lead this ride! We are always happy to extend the ride and add more miles, if all riders are in on it! Bring a water bottle. HELMETS REQUIRED. Please, arrive early! Before we ride, everyone will sign a liability waiver if you haven't already signed one for a previous group ride.

History of Velosoul “Velosoul Bicycles” first opened for business late in the spring of 2009. The shop’s initial emphasis was on the purchase and sale of used bikes and bike parts. ... moreThe shop was sold by its original owner in the summer of 2010. Operating as “Velosoul Cycles”, the new owners evolved the business into a full service shop with a full stock of new and used bikes. In February of 2011, Velosoul became a Jamis dealer.

Velosoul Today
The next phase of Velosoul’s evolution began on December 1, 2011, when Zach Hepner acquired the shop and began operating as Velosoul Cyclery, a full service shop with a vastly expanded stock of new Jamis bicycles and a broad array of fine parts and accessories. Our product inventory has increased with each successive year, and, in 2015, we expanded our bicycle offerings to include not only Jamis, but also BH Bikes. We’re also able to order bikes from many other fine manufacturers upon request.
