Description
Join Amy Gelfand & Magge Valenti on an easy going and friendly ride in Williamson County.

RIDE NAME AND DISTANCE: Weir Lost; 30 (plus a couple more to get to the store & back) miles.

DATE/TIME: Saturday September 30, 2017 @ 9:00 am.

RIDE LEADER/CONTACT: Maggie Valenti. 512-917-7322. margaretevalenti@gmail.com

DESCRIPTION: Starting behind the Salt Lick in the Dell Diamond parking lot we will travel through the sports complex and ride to the town of Weir and back.  We will mostly be on farm roads but there are a couple of roads with high traffic where single file will be required. There are some small hills but the bigger challenge will be the wind.

AVERAGE SPEED: 12 to 17 mph. This all depends on the group and how tired Maggie & Amy are. We aren't that fast and are fine if folks ride off the front and wait at turns & intersections.  And the wind.

TERRAIN: Flat to rolling??

RIDE START ADDRESS: 3350 East Palm Valley Blvd.Salt Like BBQ in Round Rock Texas - Park in the back away from the restaurant

MAP/CUE: Old school paper maps with turn by turn will be available.

Please note:

· Helmets are mandatory.

· Ride will be “no drop” but only assuming riders have properly matched themselves to the ride description, average speed and terrain.

· Please arrive early enough to prepare yourself + bike, sign in and have the 5-minute safety briefing to be ready for an on-time departure.

· In case of inclement weather, check this posting on the morning of the ride.
