Bike Out Hunger – Texas is set for May 8-13, 2017 in Fredericksburg
I love improving things and this year’s ride, we are changing to stay in Fredericksburg the full time, without traveling to other cities and hotels. #unpackonce. The routes will be different each day and will have a shorter (40+/-) or longer (90+/-) daily distance option. Staying in one place makes it easier to participate in all or some days and allows time for work (if you have to) and more relaxation.

Routes
Detailed routes coming soon but we’ll travel a different route each day. Some hints of places we’ll ride to/through: Kerrville, Luckenbach, Crabapple, Willow City, Enchanted Rock, Horseshoe Bay, Wimberley, Bee Cave.
Cost Structure
The daily ride fee is $65 and includes all the goodies and activities above.
Fundraising
In addition to the daily riding fee, each person is asked to raise $100 (more is more kids getting food) per day of riding. Don’t worry, we make it easy to share what you’re doing for feeding kids.
Hotel (another change this year)
To better accommodate the number of riders coming in and out of the event, each person needs to book their hotel room (single or double – your choice) with Fredericksburg Inn & Suites. The room block is under Bike Out Hunger and we have a special rate ($109 Sun-Thurs and $169 Fri-Sat), call them at 830-997-0202. The room rates are limited and will expire April 15.
Event schedule
Monday – 11 am start for those opting to not arrive Sunday evening (shorter route day)
Tuesday – Saturday we will start both ride distances at 8 am
Courses close at 5pm
Suppers are at 6-ish pm
Evenings with house concerts will start around 7:30-ish pm
All start/stop points are the Fredericksburg Inn & Suites.
