DESCRIPTION: This ride first goes north to Cele which was established in the late 19th century and named for Lucille Custer, daughter of the local store owner. The 1891 store itself has been featured as a location in several movies. Then ride east to Elgin which owes its existence to a major flood of the Colorado River in 1869 which caused the railroad to be rerouted through the "city".
AVERAGE SPEED: 15 - 17 mph. A guide only; actual pace depends on the group and to maintain this average, there will be some significantly faster stretches.
TERRAIN: Flat to rolling
