RIDE NAME AND DISTANCE: City Park - Jolyville Loop; 41 miles
DATE/TIME: Tuesday 27th March @ 8:00 am.
RIDE LEADER/CONTACT: William Hudson; 210-387-7340; WilliamPedalsOn@gmail.com
DESCRIPTION: One of our very best urban rides. The views over the Hill Country and the Downtown from City Park Road make the climbs worthwhile. Some roads with moderate traffic.
AVERAGE SPEED: 14 - 16 mph. A guide only; actual pace depends on the group and to maintain this average, there will be some significantly faster stretches. This is especially true on this ride due to the terrain.
TERRAIN: Very hilly. Two challenging climbs & a few “walnuts”.
RIDER LEVEL: Experienced, self-confident riders who are comfortable and very safe in a group riding situation which could include pace-line riding, hilly terrain and exposure to significant urban traffic.
RIDE START ADDRESS & url: Starbucks @ the Arboretum. 9722 Great Hills Trail #380, Austin, TX 78759. https://goo.gl/maps/6nW5iH3XgFq Please try not to impede commercial business parking.
