CSCC is a recreational bicycling club which promotes safe and fun cycling for all ages and abilities. Whatever your level of proficiency, from beginner to experienced rider, our club offers enthusiastic cyclist many ways to get more out of riding. Our motto is "Come along for the Ride!".
Benefits of Membership Include: Saturday & Sunday Rides Two to four different rides each Saturday and Sunday all year. Evening Rides During the summer, ride with CSCC on social and serious rides including Dinner rides, Road Training Rides and Community Trail System Rides. Weekday Rides Check our calendar for dates and times. Annual Theme Rides In addition to our regular weekly rides, join us for the New Year's Day Frozen Water Bottle Ride, Raw Easter Egg Ride, Tour de Turkey and Progressive Dinner Ride. Buena Vista Bike Fest (BVBF) The on the first Saturday in June, CSCC sponsors this one-day bicycling festival in Buena Vista, CO. This event provides options for road biking with outstanding views of Colorado's highest mountain peaks and the crystal clear water of the Arkansas River. This weekend provides many options from a flat to hilly to a full-blown century ride. A Voice for Cyclists CSCC advocates locally for bicycle trails, lanes, paths and rider support facilities throughout the Pikes Peak region. Club Meetings Generally held the 1st Tuesday of the month. Enjoy special programs of interest to all cyclists.
Membership Fees A single membership is $21, and a family membership is $28.

The Latte Ride is designed to be shorter and easier (12 – 15 miles) early in the season and building to be longer and more difficult (15 - 20+ miles with more hills) toward the end of the season. It is always a no drop, led social ride, with posting at corners and sweeps designated.

This is a no drop ride intended to provide a mid-week evening group ride opportunity for folks that like to do the more "energetic" activities like the Saturday Road Ride, the Sunday ... moreHill Climb Ride and the Tues/Thurs Old Phearts rides. The ride will start from the Goose Gossage Sports Complex which is geographically centered in the city, giving folks from all over a chance to join. We will meet in the Parking Lot at the North end of the Baseball Field area, south of the Sinton Trail, on the West side of Mark Dabling. Rides will be about 20-25 miles and will continue into fall until the days get too short.

Since we went South last week and some of us completed the entire ride, I decided that we should go north this Sunday. The route is new but ventures through familiar territory. We ... morewill warm up on Panorama then head over to Centennial and Holland Park. From there we head over to Popes Bluff & Valley, then over to Rockrimmon, then cutting through War Eagle to Allegheny for the climb up Oak Valley Dr. We will eventually find our way to Woodmen, then up and around to Allegheny, then up the steeper south side of Flying W. We will finish by charging down 30th St to Water St to Westmoor Park.
Approximate total distance: 26.5 miles.
Approximate total elevation gain: 2691 ft.
Approximate duration: 2.5 - 3.0 hours.

The Sunday Hill Climb Ride is a no drop ride with an emphasis on improving climbing skills and stamina. All abilities are invited to join. The ride will re-group at the top of climbs. So, if you are the first up, you have the option to roll back down and repeat the climb as many times as you like until everyone is up. Distance usually ranges from 15 to 20 miles. The ride usually lasts 2-3 hours, giving riders the opportunity to join the Sunday Social Ride as well.
Please note the Sunday Hill Climb Ride is starting from: Westmoor Neighborhood Park, 3315 Water St. (Chambers Dr. and Water St.)
And note NEW START TIMES: Winter (Oct -May) starting time, 10 am. Summer (June-August) starting time, 9am.
