Austin Full Marathon Group
WHO: Anyone wishing to complete or PR the Austin Marathon on February 19th, 2017. **Athletes must be able to run a minimum of 3 miles to start the program with no running injuries.
WHAT: Join Coach Erin group running practices 2-3 times a week leading up to the Marathon. Athletes will work on speed, endurance, hills, form and drills to successfully complete the Austin Marathon. Tips on nutrition an hydration, foot wear and apparel is included.
WHEN & WHERE: Workouts are held on the following schedule:
Monday's - Hill work - various locations North Central Austin and Cedar Park Areas at 6:45 PM
Wednesday's - Track workouts alternating weeks between Austin High School Track at 6:15 AM and WILCO Track in Leander at 6:45 PM.
Saturday's - Long Run, Various locations and times.
HOW MUCH: The 20 week program includes a FREE Training Peaks account and a full Marathon running training program and Video run analysis. Some days are to be completed on your own.
Full Program Cost: $375.00 (fee's can be broken up into 3 payments by request, 1st payment due before 1st workout)
ADDITIONAL INFO: It is strongly encouraged to run with a GPS style watch, and Heart Rate Monitor. Bring your own hydration to weekday runs. Long weekend runs will be supported, but bring your own bottle and nutrition.
