DELAYED: start at 9 a.m. to allow roads to dry.
Forecast calls for a NW wind, so we are heading north first. We'll ride north on neighborhood roads through north central Austin and then head south and east to Manor on semi-rural ... moreroads. We will make a store stop in Manor and return. The route is mostly flat, with some rolling hills. The average speed will be 13-15 mph, but on flats and straightaways some riders will go faster. This is a no drop ride and we will regroup at turns and hills as necessary. Join us for coffee afterwards at the Flight Path. Ride will be cancelled in case of rain or significantly wet roads. Check this ride posting before you leave home if in doubt; cancellation status will be updated by 7:30 a.m. Ride Leader: Jeff Hufford. e-mail: jeff_hufford@hotmail.com, cell phone: 512-657-9381

<Rescheduled from April 2nd rainout> Starting at 9:30am from Performance Bicycles North, 2900 W Anderson Ln, Austin Cycling Cezannes and pedaling Picassos - join us on a quirky, ... moresocial, neighborhood bike ride which takes us past some of Austin's most notable (or notorious) outdoor art... Treasure or trash? Iconic or eyesore? You decide.

The ride will cover 20-25 miles at an expected moving pace of 12 mph. Riders must wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws. Your bike should be in good working condition and you should carry ID, money, cell phone, water, tools, and lock.

Our destination will be the Pecan Street Festival, one of Austin's most popular free arts, crafts, and music street festivals. We'll tour the exhibits for about an hour, then regroup and ride back to the start.

We typically gather for lunch after our rides.
