Note 7 AM start
Rain forced us to shorten the ride last week, so we'll try again. We'll meet at the usual Mozart's starting point: near the old boat across the street and uphill from the Coffee Shop. ... moreThis ride will be a bit slower than our shorter rides - don't want to leave the birthday boy in the dust! Store stops in Buda (16 mi), Kyle (27 mi), San Marcos (turnaround point, 36 mi), Creedmoor (56 mi), and finish. Coffee and conversation at Mozart's after.

Starting from Performance Bicycles North, 2900 W Anderson Ln. Join us for a 20 mile (12 mph rolling average speed) ride thru densely populated and remarkably wild streets and paved ... morepaths of far north Austin. Along the way we'll ponder the questions - Does Mopac have a bike lane? How big is Little Walnut Creek? Where can you spot guinea fowl in Austin?

Riders must wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws. Your bike should be in good working condition and you should carry ID, money, cell phone, water, tools, and lock. We intend to be back before dark, but it's always recommended to have reflectors and lights.
