Join us for this new/old route in the relatively flat expanses of east Central Texas. We'll ride through the quiet farm/ranch lands of east Williamson County. We'll travel on some quiet country roads (some are "vintage" chip seal and a little bumpy---air up your ties accordingly!) doing a steady "B" paced (15-16 mph) no-drop ride, with re-grouping as needed at the next turn. We'll go east out of Hutto, thru Beyersville. Then north thru Noak & Thrall, before turning west into Waterloo & Taylor. Then continuing west back to Hutto. We'll have our store stop in Thrall at 29 miles. Total climbing is under 1230 ft. (per RIDEwithGPS)
NOTE I: I do not have maps of this route, but good Q-sheets will be provided and the RIDEwithGPS link is provided here for downloading.
NOTE II: Helmets are required on ALL Bike Austin rides.
Come with your equipment ready to ride 56 miles, in time to get signed-in and participate in the starter's meeting at 8:20 AM, for a prompt roll-out at 8:30 AM. Let's all hope for nice (calm winds!) weather!
If you are not familiar with our ride catagories; please see the following 2 sights to insure you are matched for this ride:

For all those interested (all are invited), we'll have coffee, conversation, and/or lunch (or just some delicious fresh homemade pie) afterwards at Hutto's "Notorious" Texan Cafe. Try one of their blue plate specials.
Meet at Hutto's Fritz Park on the NE side of Hutto. From Hwy 79 in Hutto go north 0.25 miles on FM 1660 and turn right onto E. Live Oak St. Drive 0.2 miles and turn left into the parking lot (ride start map location attached). Rest Rooms are open/available at Fritz Park; thus why the start location change! We'll only be 1/4 mile southwest from the red roof elementary school we previously started from; with easy access to Hutto's bike path and our old starting point!
Check this posting ride day morning in case of a weather cancellation.
