Possum Pedal 2016 - 
 
Twenty years ago the Possum Pedal 100 drew cyclists and crowds for miles around and was one of the most popular early Spring rides in north Texas and southern Oklahoma. This event has been revived by the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Graham as a summer event with rides of all distances.
 
Registration Location

Registration will NOT be open on Friday evening this year.  Registration will be open on Saturday, June 4th at 6 AM at the American Legion Building, next door to the Visitor and Business Center at 608 Elm Street.

Terms & Conditions
  • Requirements & Recommendations: 1. This is a ride, not a race. Obey all traffic laws and ride as far to the right of the road as possible with no more than two abreast 2. Ride at your own pace. The ride will begin to close at 3 p.m. and no bike rider will be left unsupported 3. Riders riding the 65 or 79 miles routes must reach the Possum Trap Rest Stop located at 1769 and Hwy 380 by 1 PM or be redirected back to Graham for a 50 mile trip 4. Bike must be in good working condition 5. Riders are encouraged to carry their own water bottle, pumps, tubes and tools. Water and snacks are available at start/finish area and all rest stops 6. Riders are responsible for their own repairs, although there will be mechanical support available
  • Helmets: 1. Helmets required for all participants (ANSI, ASTM, CPSC or Snell-approved helmets) 2. Helmets are required anytime you are on your bicycle
  • Rest Stops: 1. Drinks, water, fruit and snacks will be available at each rest stop 2. All participants should carry water
  • Inclement Weather Plan: 1. The ride will happen rain or shine. No refunds
  • Services & Medical Assistance: 1. Emergency SAG wagons will be present on all courses 2. No personal SAG wagons permitted 3. Trained medical staff will be available on site 4. Mechanic support will be available on site, but every rider is responsible for his/her equipment and repairs 5. Common repair parts will be available 6. Rest stops will be spaced out approximately every 10-12 miles
  • Parking: 1. Parking is no longer allowed on the Square due to the Food Truck Championship of Texas. This year the finish line will be located on 3rd street between Pecan and Grove. Parking will be allowed around the streets in that area. The Food Truck Championship of Texas will be on the Square, a short walk away. And the outdoor concert that evening will be in the grassy area south of the finish line. Parking will not be allowed on 3rd street.
