Description
The Alzheimer’s Association Ride to End ALZ is a cycling event to directly impact the pace and momentum behind the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Inspired by science and driven by a determination to end this disease, participants in Ride to End ALZ raise funds and awareness to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s.

FULLY SUPPORTED, ON AND OFF THE BIKE
Ride to End ALZ is a fully supported event for a range of riders, whether you’re a novice cyclist, weekend warrior or avid enthusiast. Austin has three route options - 20 miles, 40 miles and 62 miles - that challenge you to go the distance to fight Alzheimer's.

You’re not in this challenge alone — each rider will be assigned a personal concierge to provide fundraising and training support from registration to the day of Ride. And on event day, our dedicated volunteers and crew will push you toward the finish line with rest stops, support vehicles and cheers of encouragement. You can do this!

All participants must be 13 years of age or older. Riders make an initial donation to activate their registration and agree to a chosen required fundraising commitment level in order to participate. Crew members and volunteers are not required to fundraise.

A RIDE TO FUEL RESEARCH
As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s disease research, the Alzheimer’s Association is setting the pace of the field with innovation and investment — and you’re setting the pace with each pedal stroke.

Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. But you can help change that. The funds you raise through Ride to End ALZ directly impact the Association’s ability to accelerate science toward methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer's and other dementias.

Join us as we cycle toward scientific progress in the fight against America’s sixth-leading cause of death.
