Description
Sealy Road Race Series 2016
Sealy Road Race series is a new monthly series outside of Houston leaving from BP&W park in Sealy TX. The courses are point to point races with sprint points along the way. Races include 4 basic categories from Elite men to beginners as well as a women/ juniors class and now a beginner cat 5 only race. Pre-registration is available online for $35 at usacycling.org. Races kickoff at 9:00 am, so be sure to get there early to pick up your number!

Sealy Road Race #4 will be one you wont want to miss! A hilly route through Austin county with a finish at the Tree Farm on 2187. Following the race, stop by Sealybration! The annual city festival in downtown Sealy with food, drinks, games and more with a fireworks show at night.

Results:
Results will be processed immediately following your race. Any issues with results, once posted, must be brought to the officials tent for review. The protest period is 15 minutes! After that, results are final and we will begin podiums and payouts. You must be present at the podium to collect your payout, if you leave without it, your prize is forfeited.

Terms & Conditions
  • Racers are required to stay within the yellow lines! If you cross the yellow line, you will be penalized, and could be putting yourself and others at risk. Where there is no line, you must stay to the right for any approaching traffic.
  • If you are dropped by the main peloton, you are required to follow all the local traffic laws and yield to local traffic at intersections when outside of the race enclosure.
  • Route maps will be posted by registration. Although we have signs, arrows, lead, and follow cars, you are responsible for knowing the route. If you get dropped or flat behind the group, please pay attention to the route signs.
  • If you finish the race behind the group, make sure the officials write your number down so you can still be placed.
  • Riders are responsible for having their own wheels or flat kits, we will not provide neutral wheels, so bring your own. If you dont have wheels, at least put a seatbag/flat kit with your name in the car. All wheels must be marked or identified with a name and bib number. Teams may share wheels, but must mark their team name on the set. Follow cars will be stationed in the staging area, wheels must be there 10 minutes before the start of your race!
